This automatic driving suggestion device (4) is used in a vehicle which is capable of selecting one state among an automatic driving state and a manual driving state. The automatic driving suggestion device is provided with: a request unit (25); an automatic driving determination unit (27); a calculation unit (29); a calculation value determination unit (31); and a suggestion unit (33). The request unit issues a driving take-over request when the vehicle arrives at a take-over point. The automatic driving determination unit determines whether automatic driving is possible. The calculation unit calculates a calculation value such as a predicted time until arrival at the take-over point. The calculation value determination unit determines whether the calculation value is greater than a threshold value. The suggestion unit suggests automatic driving upon fulfillment of the necessary conditions of it being determined that automatic driving is possible and it being determined that the calculation value is greater than the threshold value.
