A signal intersection turn-around opening position selection method affected by a traffic flow composition. During the process of determining the left-turn lane pass capability, the differential impacts of various vehicle arrival modes on the left-turn green light utilization rate and the turn-around green light utilization rate is analyzed, and by combining the traffic management demands and the traffic flow space-time characteristics, a passing capability computing method for a signal intersection left-turn lane equipped with a turn-around opening is provided, so that the left-turn lane passing capability affected by the actual traffic flow composition is more accurately computed.
