FORGERY DEFENSIVE POWER ANALYSIS SYSTEM FOR FINGERPRINT RECOGNITION DEVICE AND EVALUATION METHOD THEREFOR

A fingerprint sensor quality determination system and a determination method therefor are disclosed. The fingerprint sensor quality determination system of the present invention determines the quality of a fingerprint sensor through a method of examining the quality of a fingerprint image generated by the fingerprint sensor. A quality determination method of the present invention proposes a method for scoring the quality of a fingerprint image, that is, the quality of a fingerprint sensor, by comprehensively using the distribution pattern of minutiae, the size of a fingerprint area in which the minutiae are recognized through distribution, the number of the minutiae, and the quality of the respective minutiae, in order to overcome the ambiguity of a manner of simply examining the sharpness of the fingerprint image.
