A smart classroom teaching system employing an Internet of Things, comprising: a classroom sub-system (10), a teaching cloud platform (20), a remote management platform (30), and an Internet of Things (40), wherein the classroom subsystem (10) exchanges information with the teaching cloud platform (20) by means of the Internet of Things (40), downloads and stores courseware, realizes playback of the courseware and teaching interaction between a teacher and a student, and accepts unified management by the remote management platform (30). The teaching cloud platform (20) is used to support the work of the classroom subsystem (10), to maintain the classroom subsystem (10), and to distribute data for the classroom subsystem (10). The remote management platform (30) manages the classroom subsystem (10) by means of the Internet of Things (40). A teacher terminal (203) and a student terminal (202) in the teaching system connect to the network data by means of a classroom base station (201) connected to the Internet of Things (40), thereby achieving transmitting, receiving, and updating of teaching data. The teaching system can be used by a school even if the same is without broadband access .
