[Problem] To use a highly precise but simple configuration to observe the oscillation of an object. [Solution] An oscillation observation device 10 comprises a reception unit 211, a reception unit 212, a computation unit 230, and an oscillation amount calculation unit 30. The reception unit 211 and the reception unit 212 respectively measure the carrier wave phases of positioning signals. The computation unit 230 calculates the speed of an object by using the amount of change in the carrier wave phases measured by the reception unit 211 and the reception unit 212, respectively. The oscillation amount calculation unit 30 uses this speed to calculate the amount of oscillation in the translational direction of the object.
