Disclosed is a phased-array ultrasonic automatic detection system for a friction stir welding seam of a rocket tank. The detection system comprises: a dual-axis positioner (2) and a passive rotating mechanism (4), the dual-axis positioner (2) and the passive rotating mechanism (4) being arranged at an interval, and a rocket tank (3) being connected between the dual-axis positioner (2) and the passive rotating mechanism (4); a rotary guide rail (5), the passive rotating mechanism (4) being connected to the rotary guide rail (5); a detection guide rail (6), the detection guide rail (6) and the rotary guide rail (5) being arranged at an interval; a detection mechanism, the detection mechanism being connected to the detection guide rail (6); and a general control mechanism (1), the general control mechanism (1) communicating with the dual-axis positioner (2), the passive rotating mechanism (4) and the detection mechanism, respectively. The phased-array ultrasonic automatic detection of an aluminum alloy full stir welding seam of a carrier rocket tank (3) is realized by means of the coordinated control over a six-joint robot (7) and the dual-axis positioner (2) and by means of the cooperation of the general control mechanism (1) and a phased-array ultrasonic probe (8), thereby improving the detection efficiency and the automation level and laying a foundation for intelligent detection.
