Provided is a safe blocking method for an excavation disturbance area of a high-level waste disposal repository roadway. Multiple groups of seal sections (3) are excavated on an original high-level waste disposal repository roadway wall and are filled with buffer material blocks, and under the action of underground water, the buffer material blocks expand, thus sealing the seal sections (3). When nuclide leaks and flows into a roadway and flows through an excavation disturbance area, the existence of the seal sections (3) effectively blocks nuclide from leaking from rock stratum crevices, thus ensuring the safety of a high-level waste disposal repository and eliminating a potential safety hazard of nuclide leakage.
