Provided are a casting drum device and a method for manufacturing a synthetic resin film/sheet using the casting drum device, whereby a uniform film thickness of a synthetic resin film/sheet can be ensured even when a casting drum has increased size, and the surface temperature of the casting drum can be freely set/controlled in accordance with the material resin of the synthetic resin film/sheet and the physical properties/characteristics, etc., required in the synthetic resin film/sheet. This casting drum device addresses the aforementioned problem by being constituted so as to be provided with a fixed shaft, a heating means and/or a cooling means disposed on the surface of the fixed shaft, and a hollow cylindrical rotating ring rotatably attached to the fixed shaft so as to cover the heating means and/or the cooling means, the rotating ring being heated and/or cooled by the heating means and/or the cooling means. The method for manufacturing a synthetic resin film/sheet using the casting drum device according to the present invention addresses the aforementioned problem by manufacturing a synthetic resin film/sheet using a casting drum device such as is described above.
