A magnetic polymer adsorption material, a preparation method therefor and an application thereof, which relate to the field of magnetic polymer materials. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) preparing magnetic nanoparticles; (2) dissolving magnetic nanoparticles in a pore-forming agent, separately adding N-vinylpyrrolidone, divinylbenzene and an initiator such that the same are uniformly mixed; (3) adding an emulsifier or a dispersing agent into the aqueous solution; at a temperature lower than 60°C, adding a part of the oil phase solution prepared in step (2), and when the temperature is raised to 60°C or higher, adding the remaining oil phase solution, stirring the reaction, then carrying out precipitation, filtration, washing, and drying to finally obtain a magnetic polymer adsorbent material. The material has a particle size between 2-100 μm, a magnetization of 5-19.5 emu/g, and a specific surface area of 210-950 m2/g, and the material may be applied to the adsorption of inorganic and organic substances in solutions, the controlled release of inorganic and organic substances, and the separation of different substances.
