The delivery management device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, is provided with, for example: a receivability information acquisition unit which acquires, for each destination of the items to be delivered, receivability information which indicates whether the item to be delivered can be received; a deliverability determination unit which determines for each item to be delivered, whether the item can be delivered to the destination, on the basis of the receivability information; and a sorting instruction information-generating unit which generates sorting instruction information which is a command to sort the item to be delivered on the basis of the determination made by the deliverability determination unit.
