A subtitle providing system, according to the present invention, comprises: a chair; a storage device arranged in a portion of the chair and storing subtitle information; a display device arranged at the upper part of the chair and providing, at the back of the chair, the subtitle information to a seated user; and a central server for controlling the storage device and the display device. Through the present invention, a viewer can enjoy an image without limitations according to languages being used.
