A potted plant for garden landscaping, comprising a pot body (1) and a rainwater buffering device (2) that is disposed above of the pot body (1); the rainwater buffering device (2) is made of transparent materials, and the rainwater buffering device (2) comprises a board body (21); running water channels (22) are evenly distributed on a surface of the board body (21); the running water channels (22) comprise a first channel (23), second channel (24), and third channel (25) that are located on the same flat surface and that are successively connected. The first channel (23) is arranged at an obtuse angle with the second channel (24); the second channel (24) is arranged at an obtuse angle with the third channel (25); and the first channel (23) is parallel to the third channel (25). By means of the rainwater buffering device (2) being added above the pot body (1), the bend-shaped running water channels (22) are capable of greatly mitigating the speed of falling rainwater, thus preventing the rainwater from damaging plants and soil within the pot.
