Disclosed is a foldable life jacket having a breathing function. A foldable life jacket body consists of two independent air bags (11) adjacent to each other and connected as one. The air bags (11) on both sides of the foldable life jacket body are respectively provided with a breathing device, an inflation device, an air blowing device, and a reflective strip (10). The back face of the foldable life jacket body is provided with a strap (13) connected to a strap fastener, so that the life jacket body can be placed over the neck of a user and fixed under the armpits by means of the strap (13) connected to the strap fastener so as to prevent the life jacket from coming loose. The life jacket can effectively improve the timeliness and reliability of rescue by marine operating personnel.
