The present invention provides, after installing a check-in device provided with a touch screen at a starting point check-in location and at a returning point check-in location, respectively, and authenticating a user by interlocking with a smart device, wherein the check-in device and the smart device are in short range communication with each other, exercise information of the user when the user moves from the starting point check-in location to the returning point check-in location. According to a method for managing riverside walking of the present invention, a check-in device provided with a touch screen is installed at a starting point check-in location and at a returning point check-in location, respectively, and a smart device can be interlocked with the check-in device, wherein the smart device and the check-in device are in short range communication with each other, thereby having a remarkable effect of providing information during riverside walking.
