Disclosed are a cross-platform content control method and device, a terminal, a server, and a storage medium. The method comprises: a first terminal receives a cross-platform message, the cross-platform message carrying a control command that has been executed on a second terminal, and a cross-platform content code of the controlled content; the first terminal sends, according to the cross-platform content code, a content lookup request to a first platform where the first terminal is located so as to detect whether the content corresponding to the cross-platform content code exists on the first platform; when the content corresponding to the cross-platform content code exists, the first terminal executes the control command for the received content.
