The present application discloses a VTM-based information change method, system, and device, and a storage medium. In the present application, in response to an information change instruction, a VTM sends the information change instruction to an agent device; upon receipt of the information change instruction, the agent device sends a change start instruction to the VTM; the VTM displays a preset information input interface and acquires client change information inputted by a user, and sends the client change information to the agent device; the agent device displays the client change information on the preset information input interface, acquires an agent authorization instruction inputted by an agent, and sends the agent authorization instruction to the VTM; and in response to the agent authorization instruction, the VTM displays a preset user confirmation interface. In the present application, the right of control in the flow is executed at the agent device side, such that an agent can control the information change, thereby solving the technical problem of not being able to take into account of both the service processing efficiency and the security during information change.
