This lithium-ion rechargeable battery comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode and an electrolyte containing a dioxane compound and a sultone compound. The content of the dioxane compound is at least 0.5% by weight, the content of the sultone compound is at least 0.1% by weight, and the sum of the content of the dioxane compound and the the content of the sultone compound does not exceed 3.0% by weight.
