A nonverbal information generation device that includes: a nonverbal information generation part that, on the basis of time-information-stamped text feature quantities and a learned nonverbal information generation model, generates time-information-stamped nonverbal information that corresponds to the time-information-stamped text feature quantities; and an expression part that expresses the nonverbal information. The time-information-stamped text feature quantities include: feature quantities that have been extracted from text; and time information that indicates times that have been assigned to prescribed units of the text. The nonverbal information is information for controlling the expression part to express behavior that corresponds to the text. The nonverbal information generation part: controls the expression part such that the time-information-stamped nonverbal information is expressed by the expression part in accordance with time information that has been assigned to said nonverbal information; and controls the expression part such that the text that corresponds to said time information, or audio that corresponds to the text, is outputted.
