METHOD FOR REMOVING MICROALGAE BY USING ROTIFERS

The present invention relates to a method for removing microalgae by using rotifers, comprising the steps of: obtaining rotifers in which a morphological change has occurred and reproductive ability has been lost; and supplying the rotifers to microalgae so as to remove the microalgae through the ingestion of the microalgae by the rotifers, and allowing the rotifers, having ingested the microalgae, to die off after a predetermined period. Therefore, rotifers, which ingest microalgae, are supplied in order to prevent red tide or green tide caused by microalgae, and rotifers, which have lost reproductive ability, can die off after a predetermined time.
