A modular system is described for capturing gas or biogas from organic material containment structures, said modular system comprising a containment structure (10) in which the organic matter undergoes an anaerobic biological transformation process, said containment structure (10) having at least one opening (11) for access to the internal region provided with closing means or a seal; a collection pipe line (20) provided with an extractor head (21) coupled to the opening (11) of the containment structure (10); a flexible pipe (30) interlinked at one end to the extractor head (21) and at the opposite end to an intermediary pipe line (40), and a main linear manifold pipe (50) to which the intermediary pipe line (40) is connected.
