An intelligent logistics cabinet and item information management method. The intelligent logistics cabinet (010) comprises a cabinet body (100) with an access slot (101) for accessing items being provided on the surface thereof, and an item storage device (200) for storing items and a drawer (110) for temporarily placing the item storage device being provided therein, wherein an item information memory (210) is provided on the item storage device (200). The intelligent logistics cabinet (010) further comprises an item information reader-writer (220) for writing item information to the item information memory or reading the item information from the item information memory. The item information management method comprises: receiving an item and item information in the case where a request for storing an item is received; and controlling an item information reader-writer (220) so that same writes the item information to an item information memory (210).
