This method is an adjustment method for a positioning system (1) having a reception antenna device (10), an electronic instrument (5) that outputs a beacon signal, and a positioning device (20). The positioning device uses an arrival direction estimation algorithm to estimate the arrival direction of the beacon signal. In this adjustment method, location information for the device (10), which is provided in a positioning space, is acquired, and in order to use the positioning device (20) to further estimate the location of the electronic instrument in the positioning space from the location information and the estimated arrival direction of the beacon signal, a parameter associating a coordinate system of the device (10) and a coordinate system of the positioning space is acquired, and the location information and the parameter are stored in the positioning device.
