The utility model relates to medical technology, and more particularly to drainage devices for use in ophthalmic surgery in the case of penetrating glaucoma procedures. A drainage device for glaucoma surgery is configured in the form of a flat finished product made of a bioresorbable microfibre material and having a first end for at least partial insertion beneath a dissected scleral flap, and a second end configured such that it can be positioned in the scleral-conjunctival zone beneath the dissected conjunctiva, wherein the diameter of the fibres is in a range of 0.1-6.0 µm.
