The SPR sensor chip 12A is provided with: a base part 34 formed from silicon (Si); an SPR part 18 provided to a surface 36 of the base part 34, the SPR part 18 generating plasmon resonance due to incident light that was incident on the SPR part 18; and a de-coupling part 20 that imparts physical energy to the SPR part 18.
