The present invention relates to a zone-free type induction heating device with improved user experience and user interface. In addition, a zone-free type induction heating device according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a plurality of working coils provided inside a case; a cover plate coupled to the top of the case and in which an object to be heated that is heated by at least one of the plurality of working coils is disposed on an upper surface thereof; a temperature sensor for sensing the temperature of the cover plate; an input interface embedded flatly in the upper surface of the cover plate and displaying a specific image; and a first control module for receiving information on the temperature of the cover plate from the temperature sensor and controlling whether to display a residual heat image of the input interface on the basis of the received information on the temperature of the cover plate.
