Disclosed is an output method and system for continuously conveying a printing medium and scanning type multi-PASS printing. The method comprises: I. Controlling the continuously forward conveying of a printing medium in the Y-axis direction; II. Controlling a printing head and the printing medium to be at a printing start position in the Y-axis direction; III. Controlling the printing head to move from right to left in the X-axis direction; at the same time, the printing head moves forward along the Y-axis by synchronizing the printing medium, and the printing head discharges ink to complete the PASS printing; IIIV. Adjusting the relative position of the printing head and the printing medium to be at a next PASS position; V. Controlling the printing head to move from left to right in the X-axis direction; at the same time, the printing head moves forward along the Y-axis by synchronizing the printing medium, and the printing head discharges ink to complete the PASS printing; VI. Adjusting the relative position of the printing head and the printing medium to be at a next PASS position; VII. Repeating steps three, four, five and six, the printing head performs a left-right back and forth movement to cooperate with ink discharging of the printing head to complete multi-PASS overlapped printing to output a finished product. The method and system has the advantage of continuously conveying printing mediums and scanning type multi-PASS printing.
