Embodiments of the present invention provide an instant messaging record-based blockchain processing method. The method is applicable to blockchain nodes. The method comprises: receiving an instant messaging record sent by a client node and/or an instant messaging server; and together with other blockchain nodes, storing the received instant messaging records in respective blockchain databases. By means of the instant messaging record-based blockchain processing method of the present invention, multi-party cosurveillance on instant messaging interaction behaviors reflected by the instant messaging records can be achieved, i.e., the witness of the instant messaging interaction process is formed, thereby achieving information equivalence for all parties in an instant messaging network, thereby effectively ensuring the fairness of the instant messaging network. Embodiments of the present invention also provide an instant messaging record-based blockchain processing apparatus, a medium, and a computing device.
