The present invention relates to a rotating-barrel oven-type gas oven cooker comprising: a base prop having a controller support frame added behind a base frame having jet holes for receiving burning power from jets of a gas stove such that a controller is coupled thereto, and the base prop having a weight balance maintaining means added to the base frame so as to reach a weight balance with the weight of the controller; a controller coupled to the controller support frame, the controller having a reducing motor contained therein and having a power transfer shaft exposed to slope such that the end portion thereof is positioned above the horizontal portion thereof; and an oven having a power transfer means provided on the outer portion thereof and shaft-coupled to the sloping power transfer shaft, the oven rotating so as to receive burning power through the jet holes and to cook food thereby. The oven further comprises an oil discharge hole formed through the bottom thereof near the side wall thereof, and an oil discharge valve installed in the oil discharge hole. The outer end of the oil discharge valve is bent to be larger than the outer diameter of the bottom of the oven, thereby discharging oil, and the oil discharge valve can temporarily store remaining oil. The base frame of the base prop has an oil dropping hole formed therein to be wider than the diameter of the bottom of the oven.
