The medical dressing material having a chitosan fabric sponge structure, according to the present invention, has a structure in which chitosan fibers derived from a chitosan fabric are placed on a porous structure formed by freeze-drying. Therefore, the present invention has an excellent hemostatic effect and exudate absorbancy, while having a great tensile force, is convenient to use, and can be molded into various forms so as to be widely used for a cut, burn, pressure ulcer, diabetic foot, various surgical areas, or the like in various body tissue parts such as the spine, brain, eye, ear, nose, and cervix.
