The malfunction determination device according to the present invention is configured to: acquire state data sets from work equipment (5) which is provided with an attaching portion (C) to which multiple types of work parts (T) can be attached interchangeably; identify the type of work part (T) attached to the attaching portion (C); set, in a manner corresponding to the type of the identified work part (T), malfunction determination data for ascertaining a malfunction of the work equipment (5); acquire, from among the state data sets acquired from the work equipment (5), a state data set acquired when the identified type of the work part (T) was attached; and ascertain a malfunction of the work equipment (5) by comparing the acquired state data set with the malfunction determination data that has been set.
