The present invention provides an anaerobic sewage treatment method to solve an adverse effect on the treated water of residual sulfide in membrane filtration water which is an anaerobic membrane bioreactor (AnMBR) permeate water. The anaerobic sewage treatment method comprises: a step of precipitating and removing solids contained in wastewater (step 1); a step of decomposing the organic matter contained in the wastewater having undergone the step 1 into methane and carbon dioxide using an anaerobic microorganism (step 2); and a step of recovering the sulfide contained in the treated water through step 2 (Step 3).
