APPARATUS, METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING SYNCHRONIZATION OF MOVIE SUBTITLES FOR HEARING-IMPAIRED PERSON

Provided are an apparatus, a method and a system for controlling the synchronization of movie subtitles for a hearing-impaired person, which performs synchronization of voice and subtitles in a movie when a hearing-impaired person watches the movie in a movie theatre. The apparatus of the present invention comprises: an input unit receiving a signal for selecting subtitles of a movie to be watched and a sync command; a receiving unit receiving, from a service server, a subtitle file including a file having analysis on time intervals among peak points of voice in the selected movie; a voice collecting unit collecting the voice from the currently played movie according to the sync command; a voice characteristic measuring unit measuring voice characteristics among the peak points of the voice collected from the movie; and a control unit comparing the measured voice characteristics with the file having analysis on time intervals to find a matched portion, wherein the control unit plays corresponding subtitles and outputs the same through a wearable device when the matched portion is found.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
