The present invention relates to an apparatus for analyzing an overt behavioral response in a service space and a method thereof. The method comprises the steps of: photographing an image using a camera and detecting an active region in which a movement is present in the photographed image so as to analyze a space behavior; analyzing an environmental sound input through a microphone; analyzing an image photographing a thermal image; and analyzing alert and release degrees on the space behavior using an analysis result.
