The present invention provides a trial operation control device (18) of a motor vehicle for operating control devices (13, 14, 15, 16) of a composite (12) of control devices, wherein the composite (12) of the control devices includes control devices (13, 14, 15, 16) to be operated. The trial operation control device (18) includes: a memory (19) in which a desired composite of the composite (12) of the control devices and operation commands for the control devices (13, 14, 15, 16) of the composite (12) of the control devices are stored; data interfaces (20, 21) which can data-communicate with the control devices (13, 14, 15, 16) of the composite (12) to be operated and a vehicle external test system (22); and a processor (23) which checks at least some control devices (13, 14, 15, 16) of the composite (12) of the control devices whether the actual composite corresponds to the desired composite based on the data from the control devices (13, 14, 15, 16) of the composite (12) to be operated, and then, if so, automatically executes activation commands for operating the control devices (13, 14, 15, 16) of the composite (12) to be operated.
