The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating norovirus diarrhea comprising an extract or a fraction of Vitis vinifera Radix as an active ingredient. Specifically, the composition according to the present invention has a very low toxicity against hepatocytes and has an excellent effect of selectively inhibiting RNA genome replication of norovirus, thereby being useful for the prevention or treatment of norovirus diarrhea.
