A step-up/step-down DC-DC converter using a flying capacitor and a control method thereof are disclosed. According to the present invention, there is only one switch in a current path through which a main current flows through an inductor during a step-up/step-down operation. According to the present invention, higher power efficiency can be obtained in comparison with a conventional converter, thereby increasing battery usage time and having a smaller die area. The step-up/step-down DC-DC converter includes an input part; an output part; and a conversion part.
