Adaptive Selection Method of Best Channel Estimation Scheme for Channel Environments and Estimation System Using the Same

Disclosed are a method for selecting and using the best channel estimation scheme for an operated channel environment among a plurality of channel estimation schemes, and an estimation system using the same. The method for selecting and using a channel estimation scheme selects a channel estimation scheme providing the best performance among a plurality of candidate channel estimation schemes using a long preamble transmitted for channel estimation in a start part of a packet and recovers a data symbol of the packet using the selected channel estimation scheme. According to the described configuration, by adaptively selecting and using a channel estimation scheme providing the best performance in an operated channel environment, the channel estimation performance in the overall SNR region can be improved.
