Provided are a method for manufacturing a composite material separation plate for a battery by using spread tow carbon fiber fabric, and a composite material separation plate for a battery manufactured by the same. The method comprises the steps of: applying a polymer base station to spread tow carbon fiber fabric to form a pre-separation plate; placing a release layer on the pre-separation plate, and then performing a pressurization and curing process to expose the carbon fiber fabric in a pre-separation plate area being in contact with the release layer; and removing the release layer to complete the separation plate.
