The present invention relates to a method for efficiently manufacturing natural citron flavor by selectively adsorbing and separating ethanol as an extraction solvent. Ethanol is selectively adsorbed and removed from the ethanol extract containing citron essential oil by a hydrophobic adsorbent, NaCl is added thereto to separate the extract into an aqueous layer and an organic layer, and citron essential oil is obtained from the organic layer. In the present invention, by adsorbing and removing ethanol, which is an extraction solvent, at room temperature, natural essential oil can be stably obtained without deterioration due to heat and has high purity, thereby being advantageous in aroma oil, spice, fragrance, perfume, and cosmetic materials to be utilized industrially.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
