The present invention relates to a fog forecasting system and a fog forecasting method using the same. According to an aspect of the present invention, a fog forecasting information providing method forecasts fog with respect to topography based on tidal information, and comprises the following steps of: determining whether the fog is generated; determining a generating position and a type of the fog; acquiring tidal information corresponding to a target area; acquiring first fog forecasting information based on the type and the generating position of the fog; and acquiring second fog forecasting information to correct the first fog forecasting information based on the tidal information.
