An objective of the present invention is to provide a pharmaceutical composition and a cosmetic composition for preventing hair loss and promoting hair growth. Provided is a pharmaceutical composition for preventing hair loss and promoting hair growth which is obtained by adding a sappan wood extract and a siegesbeckia herb extract to natural pozzolan having excellent far infrared ray and negative ion emission, antibacterial, deodorizing, and sterilizing functions; and a cosmetic composition for treating hair loss.
