The present invention relates to a method and system for hosting an inter-club web board game contest, and more specifically, to a method and system which allow companies to serve as game club owners, users to serve as players belonging to the game clubs, and the players belonging to different game clubs to enjoy a web board game such as hanafuda, poker, or mahjong, in league and tournament methods. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for hosting an inter-club web board game contest comprises the steps of: allowing a user terminal to connect to a webpage of a server for hosting a web board game contest and perform member registration by inputting personal information thereto; allowing the user terminal to join a game club for a web board game owned by a company as an owner in order to play the web board game as a player belonging to the game club; allowing the user terminal to participate in a league contest hosted by the server for hosting a web board game contest and play the web board game contest as the player of the game club; allowing the server for hosting a web board game contest to determine tournament winners and contest winners after completion of the league contest and reward the contest winners; allowing the tournament winners to participate in a tournament contest hosted by the server for hosting a web board game contest by using the user terminal and play the web board game as a player of the game club; and allowing the server for hosting a web board game contest to determine contest winners including a final winner after completion of the tournament contest and reward the contest winners.
