The present invention is to perform regional density-aware data collection (RDDC) to support fast data collection. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided are a method for collecting regional density-aware data using a UAV in a wireless sensor network and a device applied with the same. The method comprises the steps of: dividing a field sensed by a UAV into a plurality of regions; calculating regional node densities of the divided regions; determining a minimum competition window value for each sensor node included in the regions by using the calculated regional node densities; and collecting data by allocating the determined minimum competition window value to the sensor nodes.
