The present invention relates to a tree-shaped support and a design method for the same and, specifically, to an optimizing design method using a tree-shaped support and an artificial neural network, capable of minimizing output time and a material in an output object of a 3D printer. According to the present invention, the tree-shaped support for supporting a workpiece which is output by being separated from a printer bed includes: a column unit installed on the upper surface of the bed at a predetermined height; and a branch unit installed between the column unit and the workpiece and supporting the workpiece.
