The present invention relates to a method for evaluating a reliability of a hybrid large curvic gear by using an infrared thermography and, more specifically, to a method for evaluating a reliability of a hybrid large curvic gear by using an infrared thermography in which an infrared thermography camera can be used to photograph the hybrid large curvic gear to facilitate in determining a defect. According to the method for evaluating the reliability of the hybrid large curvic gear by using the infrared thermography, a surface of the hybrid large curvic gear is scanned with the infrared thermography camera, and the defect of the hybrid large curvic gear is determined to be defective or not by an infrared image inspection from the measured thermal image data.
