The present invention relates to a method for implementing a color on a surface of a semiconductor IC of a chip on board (COB) type mounted by directly attaching a bare chip onto a printed circuit board. The method for implementing a color comprises the steps of: forming a color conductive layer by applying a conductive paint to a surface of a semiconductor IC of a COB type mounted by directly attaching a bare chip onto a printed circuit board; implementing a desired color by irradiating the color conductive layer with a laser beam to discolor the color or patterning by irradiating the color conductive layer with the laser beam; and etching and removing regions of the color conductive layer corresponding to a gap region between a plurality of electrode terminals of the semiconductor IC by finely irradiating the color conductive layer, in which color or/and patterns are formed, with the laser beam such that an insulating pattern is formed in the regions of the color conductive layer corresponding to the gap region between the electrode terminals. According to the present invention, laser beam with controlled intensity and frequency is irradiated such that a color conductive layer with a desired color can be implemented.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
