The present invention relates to an underwater pump having a priming water lead pipe which is capable of drastically reducing the waiting time for operation in water and significantly increasing the waiting time for operation in air, thereby reducing the corrosion and malfunction of the underwater pump. In detail, provided is an underwater pump having a priming water lead pipe, wherein the priming water lead pipe, which has a length of 200 to 3,000 mm to allow priming water to naturally flow between an impeller chamber and a collecting chamber of the underwater pump used for collecting bilge or groundwater, is mounted, and when the bilge or groundwater flows into the impeller chamber, a water level sensor installed outside the underwater pump detects it, so that the underwater pump operates. In some cases, a waterproof case is mounted on the underwater pump to prevent water from reaching the outer surface of the underwater pump even if the bilge or groundwater has a higher water level than the underwater pump, thereby suppressing corrosion of the underwater pump.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
