A device and method for testing interoperability, a recording medium, and a platform system for testing interoperability are provided. According to the device for testing interoperability, a standard platform and a standardized verification method therefor can be provided. Data generated in at least one process apparatus is collected. The data collected from at least one control apparatus which controls the process apparatus is received. The interoperability can be tested using the received data. So, it is possible to test in advance interoperability between a variety of OPC-based production process apparatus (eg, robots, controllers, etc.) and IT system apparatus (eg HMI, SCADA, ERP, etc.) that are constantly expanded in smart factories, and other applications (eg, web, mobile, etc.). The device includes a communication part and a control part.
