Disclosed are a method for providing an e-mail based personalized recommendation service and a device therefor. The method of the present invention comprises the following steps: calculating a personalized recommendation item targeted to a recommendation target user; generating a dynamic image output code for outputting the personalized recommendation item; generating an e-mail on the basis of the dynamic image output code and sending the e-mail to the recommendation target user; and summoning latest item information corresponding to the personalized recommendation item from a marketing server on the basis of an execution of the dynamic image output code when the recommendation target user views the e-mail, to provide a personalized recommendation service.
