The present invention relates to a method to produce polysaccharide, comprising the following steps: 1) culturing a TBP38 strain as an Escherichia coli mutant in a medium containing glucose as a primary carbon source; 2) obtaining a cultured strain after adding a secondary carbon source in the culture medium solution of step 1) and culturing the same for 20-30 hours; and 3) extracting polysaccharide from the cultured strain obtained from step 2).
